I ordered this with the intention of protecting my counter. Its very thin--it looks and feels like a vinyl plastic. It does seem to take the heat OK. I've been using it as a trivet, with things hot right out of the oven on it--its working OK. I think this will work under my air fryer and protect my counter. I didn't like the big white logo in the corner--after all this isn't a promotional item, its a consumer purchased item for use in my kitchen. I'll maybe just turn it over and use the other side, or just bring it out when I need it.

I ordered this because I got new countertops and wanted to protect them from becoming discolored.These mats are generously sized and will fit even the large air fryers.These mats texture had some grip and it does not slip easily.These are thin and not bulky at all.They can easily fit in the drawer if you are not using them. I leave mine on the counter under my air fryer all the time but the second one I keep in the drawer and use it when needed for things like hot bowls or alike to also protect my countertops.Nice find and I feel better having that added protection from heat and the possibility of discoloration of my countertops due to excess heat.
