Cheaper than custom made and maybe just as good!

This pull out organizer is about as close to custom fit as you can get, but at a much more reasonable price. Installation is relatively easy, but the "manual" is only helpful to a degree. Before installing, I adjusted the drawer to the proper width and taped it securely so it wouldn't shift on me as I worked. I would suggest you mark exactly where you want the front corners to go before you even THINK about taking the tape off the sticky strip. Also make sure you have the drawer facing the correct way. Then check that the sliding rails are "locked" into place before attempting to put the drawer in. Finally, I slid the drawer in vertically, aligning it with the line I drew on one side and carefully lowering the high side to the shelf and sticking it in place. I hope this makes sense. I do think this is a very good product.

See whats in the back of your pantry!

I have an older home, about 50 years old. The cabinets are contractor grade from back then and the pantry is pretty much a closet with bifold doors. I've had an issue since I moved here with things getting pushed to the back of the pantry, to be forgotten about until my yearly (more or less) cleanout, when it is expired and useless. This deep (20 inch) rollout works prefectly in my pantry. I put it on the first shelf up, which is about knee height. Sure, I can bend down and twist my neck around to look in the semi-darkness of the back, or I can use this and roll it out, and access everything with a minimum of contortion. The drawer pulls out about 3/4 of the way. It has a detent when all the way closed, so it won't just randomly slide open.It comes with adhesive strips, or you can screw it in. I used about 1/2" of the strips on each slide bottom to position the drawer in the fully closed position, then slid it out to expose the holes for screws. It came with screws which were too long, so I used some 1/2" panheads I had in my garage. They worked fine. Also, my pantry has a bi-fold door, so the trim overlaps my shelf a little. I used a small piece of leftover trim as a spacer to make sure I got placement right and the trim did not obstruct the drawer. You can see it in the photos, I just hadn't removed it.This item didn't solve all my pantry issues, but it made one low shelf in my dated pantry way more useful!

Smells a bit but feels well made

I’m going to let this air out a bit before I install it since it had a strong manufacturing smell, but will update with more pics when I have it installed. So far, I am happy with how heavy and sturdy this expander is. I have very deep lower kitchen cabinets, so I’m very much looking forward to having a slide-out option for storing my pots and pans!I’ll also update regarding how difficult the installation ends up being. I don’t know that I will ultimately agree with the cost (44 bucks is a lot for one shelf), but maybe once I’m using it, I’ll feel differently.
