2-Slice Toaster with Wide Slots & Bagel Function

I recently purchased this toaster, and it’s been such a fantastic addition to my kitchen! The sleek, compact design fits perfectly on my countertop without taking up too much space, and the black and stainless steel finish gives it a modern look that blends well with my other appliances.One of my favorite features is the multiple toasting settings. Whether I’m making perfectly golden toast, warming frozen waffles, or reheating bagels, this toaster handles everything effortlessly. The "defrost" and "reheat" buttons are particularly useful for mornings when I’m rushing and grabbing something quick from the freezer.The toasting process is even and consistent, which was a big deal for me. I’ve used other toasters in the past that burned one side while barely toasting the other, but this one delivers great results every time. The adjustable browning control dial is easy to use and allows me to customize how toasted I want my bread—perfect for picky eaters in the house!Cleanup is also a breeze thanks to the removable crumb tray. I cook and bake extensively, all of our meals are eaten at home with food I prepare. Our old toaster was on its last leg. Purchased this Amazon Basics 2 Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster as a replacement. Love it! Everything about this toaster exceeded my expectations.- Very durable construction and 2 extra wide slots for thicker bread, bagels, or waffles. The black insulating material around the toaster really helps keep the sides of the toaster cooled when toasting.- Easy to use with 6 shade settings, a bagel setting, a frozen setting, and a cancel button. Crumb tray is easy to remove.- Does a spectacular job of toasting (Pic of a toasted slice of my homemade sourdough sandwich loaf bread attached.)Important Before First Use: Be certain to follow the "Before First Use" instructions in the Product Manual before toasting for the first time. (Pic attached.) You need to run the toaster empty for 1 cycle on shade 6, and 2 or 3 cycles on shade 4 (I did 3) to removed any residual manufacturing residue from the inside of the toaster. (This is normal for a new toaster.) As stated in the instructions, I -did- get a bit of smoke at the start of the first shade 6 cycle, nothing in other 3 cycles. So be sure to have the toaster in a well ventilated area when doing this prep, such as by an open window, or under a stove hood that is on and venting out.A terrific value, too. I highly recommend this product.

We trust Amazon Basics items. This two slice extra wide toaster is a great example. We toasted two slices tonight of home made bread, and it came out nicely crispy on both sides. Yay!!Also, the black and silver color of our new toaster looks classy in our kitchen. Almost retro with the slightly rounded edges. It has enough room to toast bagels, as well, plus it has the tray at the bottom to slide out and toss the crumbs.Our prior toaster was never smart enough to get both sides of the bread toasted at the same time. Either too brown on one side, or far too light on the other. Now we have the best of both worlds…..and are very happy. Thank you Amazon Basics.Highly recommend.
